Good info on the idle speed. Maybe I'll raise it up from 850. Does seem to idle on the lazy side. I had the standard FITECH defective coolant temp sensor and replaced, so now get correct temps. Yes, it also has a minimum temp before it can be adjusted, also 160.

WebMar 11, 2016 · As for the ECU, FiTech mounts it directly to the throttle body, and all necessary sensors are either part of the throttle body – like air temperature, throttle position sensor, idle air control valve, and fuel injectors – or they are included, such as the wide band O2 sensor and the cooling temperature sender. WebMay 9, 2016 · I was always showing 18-20 degrees at idle and thought it should be around the 10 degrees I set the dizzy at. It makes sense now that if I phased the rotor 10 degrees, my idle timing on the handheld would be around the 10 degrees I set it at. Plus or munus the FiTech idle correction timing.
